To conduct its quality control policy and reach the company's goals, Martinswerk has introduced and continuously improves its quality management (QM) system conforming to ISO 9001 standards. The system has been audited and certified by DQS (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen mbH, Qualitäts- und Umweltgutachter) (German certification society for management systems, quality control and ecological safety).
The standard describes the minimum requirements of a QM system but we strive to extend our QM system beyond those minimum requirements. For example, some provisions of the QS-9000 standard pertaining to other industries have been implemented and applied to the extent to which they are applicable to our own industry.
QM reference book
Management is totally committed to the QM system which is implemented to all activities of our business. It is described in the company's QM reference book. The QM reference book applies to the whole company and covers all products developed, produced or sold by Martinswerk and any activity relating to the satisfaction of the needs and expectations of the customers (in accordance with the quality assurance policy). The copies of the book may be provided to third parties in exceptional cases only.
QM system check
Martinswerk's QM system is continuously evaluated by internal audits and periodically audited by the DQS certification centre. Nonetheless we can agree to customer audits in exceptional circumstances and subject to mutual agreement.
